Terms & Conditions – Online Personal Training (UK)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all online personal training and coaching services provided by Jacob Chamings.

By purchasing services or participating in online coaching, you agree to the following terms.

1. Services Provided

  • Online personal training includes personalised exercise programming, coaching guidance, nutrition advice and targets, and support delivered remotely.
  • Services do not include medical advice, diagnosis, physical therapy, or in-person supervision.

 

 

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Complete all onboarding forms honestly and accurately, including health screening.
  • Inform the Coach of any injuries, medical conditions, medications, or changes in health.
  • Perform exercises in a safe environment using appropriate equipment.
  • Follow instructions and stop exercising if pain, dizziness, or discomfort occurs.

Failure to disclose relevant health information may increase your risk of injury.

 

 

3. Health & Medical Disclaimer

  • The Coach is not a medical professional.
  • You may be advised to seek clearance from a GP or healthcare professional before participating.
  • You participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for your training activities.

 

 

4. Payment Terms

  • All services must be paid in advance.
  • Payments are processed via third-party providers.
  • Prices are listed in GBP unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions

  • Subscription payments renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with Section 6.
  • Failed payments may result in paused services until payment is resolved.

 

 

5. Cancellations, Pauses & Refunds

  • If you don't want to continue within your first 2 weeks of coaching I will refund you in full
  • You may request to pause coaching due to illness, injury, or exceptional circumstances (at the Coach’s discretion).
  • Failure to engage does not entitle you to refunds or extensions.
  • You may cancel a subscription by providing at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing date.
  • Cancellation requests must be communicated over email. This can be done at any time, there is no fixed contract
  • Access to coaching ends at the conclusion of the paid period.

 

 

6. Programme Delivery & Communication

  • Programmes are typically delivered within 24–48 hours after onboarding and payment.
  • Communication methods and response times will be outlined at the start of coaching.
  • Excessive or abusive communication will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.

 

 

7. Results Disclaimer

  • Results cannot be guaranteed.
  • Progress depends on factors including consistency, effort, nutrition, sleep, stress, and adherence.
  • No specific outcomes (fat loss, strength, physique changes) are promised.

 

8. Liability

  • The Coach is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from:
    • Misuse of provided instructions
    • Failure to follow guidance
    • Failure to disclose relevant health information
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, as required by UK law.

 

 

9. Intellectual Property

  • All programmes, materials, and content provided remain the intellectual property of the Coach.
  • Materials are for personal use only and must not be shared, copied, or redistributed.

 

 

10. Data Protection (GDPR)

  • Personal and health data are collected and processed in accordance with UK GDPR.
  • Full details are outlined in the Privacy Notice, which forms part of these Terms.

 

 

11. Termination of Services

The Coach reserves the right to terminate services without refund if:

  • These Terms are breached
  • Unsafe behaviour continues
  • Communication becomes abusive or inappropriate

 

 

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.

 

 

13. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing services and/or ticking the agreement box during onboarding, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
